Partial refund. The partial refund option is only available on paid registrations for the 2027 event (i.e., no rollovers from 2026). Partial refund amount is based on which event registered for, when you registered, and the date you request the refund. Partial refund starts at 50% on a registration of at least $40. The partial refund percentage decreases as race day gets closer. 50% through August 1, decreases to 40% August 2 – 8, decreases to 25% August 9 – 18, and then decreases to 15% August 19 – August 28.For the partial refund option, send an email with subject “Partial Refund Request” to pocatellorun@gmail.com. Race reserves the right to adjust these percentages based on registration numbers and caps on categories.

Rollover to 2028: Rollover fee starts at $25 and increases as race day gets closer. The 2027 Rollover fee is $25 through August 1, increases to $30 August 2 – 16, and final increase is to $35 August 17 – August 28. For the rollover option, process through your Run Signup registration confirmation email. Race reserves the right to adjust rollover fees based on registration numbers and caps on categories.
- Keep your official 2027 Pocatello Marathon race bag and shirt – pick it up or have it mailed (shipping and handling fee of $15). If mailing needed for this option, click the Store menu item at the registration page. The mailing option must be processed by 8 pm on Saturday, August 28, 2027, in order for this option to be honored.
Race organizers reserve the right to limit the number of race participants in any event category to ensure a quality event for everyone.
The Pocatello Marathon – Running The Gap is presented by the Pocatello Sports Committee. Our goal is to provide the highest quality event with a race distance for anyone, an option for the entire family. Our event goes beyond the start and finish line. The Pocatello Sports Committee strives to put together a big time race with the small town flare and providing a great experience for all participants, spectators, and volunteers.
